Group Public Skating

Bring a groups of 15 or more to ice skate during any of our public skating sessions and receive a discount on admission! Great for church groups, schools, day cares, girl/boy scout troops, businesses or any other organizations. Enjoy one of the fastest growing activities in the U.S. and offer your group a unique experience.

Please call ahead to set up your group booking and to receive information about our public session times.


Group Ice Skating Lessons

Beginner skaters have no need to worry. All Ice House rinks have skating coaches on staff to help with lessons, games, or even general instruction. Book one of the coaches for your group and have the time of your lives!

Private Ice Rentals

Would your group like to have the ice all to themselves? Bring your group ice skating on private ice! Rent the ice during the day, evening, or late night hours and use it however you'd like. Play broom ball [hockey with brooms and shoes], ice hockey, or whatever your imagination stirs up! Bring in music or use ours and you can have your own private party!

Skate and Learn

The Polar Ice House Rinks offer accredited North Carolina public and private schools, day cares and other organizations the opportunity to expose their students to the educational and energizing aspects of ice skating during public sessions or private ice rentals.

Curriculum Ideas

Physical Education - Bring a phys ed class to any of our ice rinks and introduce the students to ice skating as a form of cardiovascular exercise.

Educational Tour -  Bring a science class our your home school group to observe the mechanical and cooling systems of ice making.

Field Trips - Make ice skating a quarterly field trip. We guarantee the kids will love it!
