The Polar Ice House is proud to have an exceptionally experienced and talented coaching staff. Any age or skill level can take private lessons. We pride ourselves on finding the best coach for each individual skater's needs. Private lessons are held during our public skating and freestyle times. Private instructors charge a coaching fee ranging from $44 to $75 determined by the coach.

Robyn Petroskey-Poe
- PSA Master Rated, Competitive Figure Skating Coach
- She has trained under World and Olympic Coaches Kathy Casey, Donald Laws, Christy Krall, Phillip Mills, Ricki Harris, Charlene Wong, Scott Williams and Catarina Lindgren.
- Robyn has coached Junior National Competitors including the 1999 Juvenile Boys, U.S. Junior Olympic Bronze Medalist.
- As a competitor, Robyn was a Multi-National Level Competitor, Novice through Senior Level.
- She is the 1988 U.S. Championships Novice Ladies Silver Medalist and the 1989 Blue Swords Junior Cup Champion, held in East Berlin, Germany.
- She was a Regional and Sectional Champion at Novice, Junior and Senior Level and competed at eleven Regionals, nine Sectionals and seven U. S. Championships.
