Team Cary Bridge Program is an introductory figure skating program offering skaters the opportunity to learn a broader assortment of skating skills in a fast paced, group lesson environment. In addition to the standard Basic Skills and freestyle curriculum taught in Skate School, the Bridge curriculum will introduce participants to the various other disciplines, including dance, artistry, choreography, footwork, power skating, synchronized team skating, and moves-in-the field.
The Team Cary Bridge Program Package includes:
9 - 45-minute classes of guided instruction on full ice
9 - 30-minute of off-ice instruction
A freestyle punch pass
FREE skate rental for lesson
Skaters will not only acquire new skills and improve old ones, but also learn about pertinent skating topics that will help them to become more well-rounded skaters who are ready to take their skating to the next level. They will learn about freestyle ice etiquette and proper ice utilization. Moreover, they will become versed in good practice habits, such as how to warm-up and cool-down effectively.
The program is best done as a supplement to Skate School classes and/or private lessons. It is available to any skater between the Basic 4 and Preliminary Moves-in-the-Filed levels.
The program will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5:00 PM (on-ice) and 5:15-5:45 PM (off-ice)
